About

About typon

typon is a browser-based Japanese typing trainer built around romaji rhythm, fast prompt recognition, and score tracking you can keep comparing over time. For now, live play is tuned for PC keyboards so the input behavior stays stable.

What you can do here

The play screen gives you kana, words, and short conversion prompts, then tracks accuracy, WPM, combo, and weak-pattern summaries for each run.

The goal is not to feel like a long lesson page. It is meant to stay quick, focused, and easy to repeat in short sessions.

Device support right now

Live play currently supports PC keyboards. Mobile browsers can still open the guide and other information pages, but the typing arena itself is tuned for desktop use.

The main reason is consistency. Mobile IME behavior varies too much across devices, which makes both score fairness and basic input handling harder to trust.
